Dr. Emily Townsend knows Northwest Arkansas. She attended the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, graduating Cum Laude with a bachelor of science degree in human and environmental sciences. But she wanted to pursue her real dream in the field of dentistry.
Schooling took her to Tennessee, where she met her husband, Tyler. She then moved on to Missouri, where she spent a year working in general dentistry. But she knew she wanted to pursue a more specialized field, one where she could help patients by relieving their pain.
Dr. Townsend wants her patients to know that she cares about them and understands their treatment concerns. Her kindness and compassion allow her to provide exceptional care while making her patients feel comfortable about their treatment.
She attended the University of Tennessee College Of Dentistry, graduating with honors with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She received her Certificate of Endodontics and Masters of Science in Dental Research from St. Louis University.
Dr. Townsend practiced general dentistry for a year before returning to school to obtain her specialty certification in endodontics. She then joined Northwest Arkansas Endodontic Specialists!
Dr. Townsend is actively pursuing Diplomate status by the American Board of Endodontics and is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists.
Dr. Townsend spent a year after dental school practicing general dentistry. But she soon discovered a passion for a more specialized field — endodontics!
She enjoys meeting the challenges endodontics bring, but she enjoys helping her patients even more.
Dr. Townsend brings a kind and calming nature to her treatment, making her patients feel comfortable with her from the start. She understands her patients concerns and the pain they're feeling from their dental issues, and she works hard to alleviate both.

Dr. Toole followed her father's footsteps into the dental industry, then chose her own path into endodontics. She has a passion for helping patients who want to relieve their pain. She wants them to leave with a (repaired) smile on their faces!
